During Mohammed’s life, Muslims understood the Koran and debated about it. The Koran had a context, the life of Mohammed. The verses can only be understood in the light of his situation at the time.

Mohammed is the key to understanding Koran. When his life is integrated into the document, the context is restored, and it becomes an epic story that ends with the triumph of Islam over all Arabia.

Approximately half of the Koran is repetition. For instance, the story of Moses is told 39 times. This Koran has been abridged by eliminating the repetitive verses. Now you can read the Koran and understand it.

The Islamic Trilogy—Koran, Sira, Hadith
Islam is a political system, a culture and a religion based upon the Koran, Sira (life of Mohammed) and Hadith (the Traditions).
The Islamic Trilogy series integrates the three primary texts to reveal the entire Islamic political doctrine of the treatment of non-Muslims.
The Trilogy is authoritative and fact-based. All content can be confirmed by the use of reference numbers in the primary source documents. The knowledge is integrated—all of the primary sources are used to give the complete picture of Islam’s political doctrine.

An Abridged Koran The Islamic Trilogy Book 4 edition by Bill Warner Religion Spirituality eBooks

Using three categories, the Abridged Koran is structured by Context, Chronology, and Content. It will not satisfy a Muslim and will be argued as unfair and "not the Koran". This book doesn't claim to be the whole Koran, merely a help for unbelievers to understand why Muslims have such aggressive and violent attitudes towards the Kafir (unbeliever).

In the epilogue we are given a very helpful pattern for analyzing the Koranic message:
"1.) A description of the threat or violence
2.) Who is threatened
3.) What they did to deserve the violence
4.) How they are wrong
5.)Words from Allah to support his messenger, Mohammed

This structure is called the Koranic Argument. The argument goes like this: the Kafirs are wrong; Mohammed is right; and violence will come to those who deny him. The Koranic Argument was discovered by pondering the extreme violence of the Koran and noticing how it had a pattern. The violence of the Koran is not random, but develops around certain themes."

This is the essential message of the Koran. Unbelievers are wrong, Muhammad is right, and violence will come to those who deny him.

With some frequency, I had to stop reading because of the absolute hatred of Muhammad towards those who wouldn't bow to his will. It frequently turned my stomach.

An Abridged Koran The Islamic Trilogy Book 4 edition by Bill Warner Religion Spirituality eBooks Reviews

This is the best version of a Qu'ran that is arranged chorineogically and with all the repetitions removed. The Qu'ran, has no arrangement like the Bible and was cut and pasted together. It was declared the ultimate word of Al-lah, and couldn't be understood ( since it was cut up and cobbled together) but it can be understood, and when looked at chronologically, one can see mohammed trying to convince himself and others that he's the prophet, but it convinced no one at the time until he delcared Jihad against all others, and then the savagery, the sociopathic reasonings and events that were duplicated whenever Islam was strong and are so being re-created as we speak. This is so very much worth people's time to read and
see just what Mohammed was hiding, what his followers were hiding and what the politial tyranny of Islam represents to the world.
Remember, all other 'faiths' allow review of their principles, and history, and the one that doesn't- is the one created by the author of the book- the fake prophet, with no prophecy, but a terrible warning to all humanity
I think for the American voter of any stripe reading the Koran is crucial
Unfortunately, the unabridged Koran will be next to impossible to get through
With this abridged version you will quickly see why

I am already suspecting Islam has "Koran Thumpers" as Christians have "Bible Thumpers" they read into their holy works what they want
I am noticing as the Bible goes from early Middle East god of wrath to the softening with the New Testament, the Koran goes opposite

Anyway, reading this work is as easy as it can get to get a feel for the Koran
Yes, along with the Bible, you need this resource regardless your religiosity!
The news media's talkers and screamers, and politicians, simply do NOT help understanding Islam
Finally an understandable edition of one of Islam's primary source books. (The Koran as commonly used is virtually incomprehensible due to it's structure I.e. Organized by length of verse - longest to shortest, without reference to the chronology of the life of The founder of the "faith"!!) this version is in English, is written in a chronological order and eliminates many of the repeated stories included in the original. While not a "true/valid edition in the eyes of Islamic scholars (in their view the only valid Koran must be writing and read only in Arabic) this edition is usable, understandable, and gives a first hand understanding of what and how Islam came to be. Suggest reading the Gospels and then the Abridged Koran - determine which teaching represents a "loving religion".
At least in modern times, the primary mode of jihad has been not open warfare, but infiltration. In this, the most fundamental thing jihadists have had is their favor has been the difficulty in assessing what Muhammadanism (aka (misleadlingly) Islam) is really about. For whatever reason, Muslims do not present the Koran in the chronological order that it was originally written. In this volume, Bill Warner not only presents it chronologically, but removes repetitive sections, and puts the verses in the context of the Muhammadan scriptures recounting the life and "traditions" of Muhammad.

Warner also simplifies these these contextual sections, and provides precise citations to the original text. On occasion, I did check with one source, Ibn Ishaq's Sirat Rasul Allah, which is accessible online.) In one instance, (at 172) I found that Warner had included a negative characterization that, while it may in fact have been factually accurate, was not in the original source. (at Ibn Ishaq; margin note I764). This is the only clear misstatement I happened to find; in the context of the scope of Warner's work, not a great fault, but still a fault. Through his email, I advised Warner of it; he thanked me and said he would edit it.

This book (and its shorter and longer editions) represents a massive undertaking that, based on authoritative Muhammadan sources, makes this religion/ideology/strategy for subversion widely accessible to the Western public. It is a potentially historic contribution. If we make use of it.
